Nissrine Darwich

Senior Manager, Accounting

Nissrine began working with HighPoint as a contractor in 2022, joined Highpoint as a full-time employee in January 2023, and became part of our senior leadership team in November of 2024. Originally from Morocco, Nissrine moved to the United States at the age of 15. She is fluent in French and Arabic and has functional ability in Spanish. Nissrine is a big family person who loves to travel and live life to the fullest.

Nissrine has demonstrated effective time management skills, the ability to work well under pressure, self-motivation, and high attention to detail throughout her career. She currently leads the accounting department, managing the company’s financial records, overseeing financial and tax audits, and handling monthly and year-end close processes.

Her professional journey includes roles such as Senior Accountant at Itility from January 2019 to August 2022, where she oversaw the full billing cycle for all contracts, supported program managers and management with accounting functions, and led the preparation and review of the Incurred Cost Submission (ICS) annually. Prior to that, she worked as a Staff Accountant at Credence Management Solutions from August 2016 to December 2018, utilizing the Costpoint accounting system to ensure accurate and timely payments and billing. Nissrine also brings strong leadership experience in event management, having served as an Event Captain at Main Event Caterers from October 2011 to July 2016. In this role, she led teams through the setup and execution of high-profile weddings, social functions, and corporate events, delivering exceptional service to clients, including members of the United States Congress.

Nissrine holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, which she earned in May 2016. She has extensive knowledge of accounting procedures and practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
