Herndon, VA – November 15, 2021 – Joan Bishop has been named HighPoint’s Vice President of the company’s Health Sector. Bishop joins HighPoint with a dedicated focus on serving the company’s existing healthcare clients and growing HighPoint’s reach into new areas of federal health.
Bishop brings over 30 years of professional experience and progressive leadership positions providing Healthcare and Health Information Technology (HIT) consulting to clients across the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Health and Human Services (HHS), and the commercial sector. Following a 25-year career at Booz Allen Hamilton, she has held leadership positions with Maximus Federal, KPMG, OPTUM, and General Dynamics. She is currently the President-Elect for the HIMSS National Capital Region (NCA) Chapter.
