Making e-Health Records a Reality for Health and Human Services

The Federal Occupational Health (FOH) organization, under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), needed to consolidate its existing IT systems, data sources and repositories, and user groups into FedHealth, a single solution to manage occupational health and safety services at clinics.

HighPoint managed the full lifecycle implementation of FedHealth for the FOH, including installing and configuring the hardware and software infrastructure environment residing in an HHS FISMA High data center. As a result of HighPoint’s work, more than 1.8 million civilian federal employees across 360 agencies now benefit from FedHealth’s integrated system. Agencies, employees, and external providers use FedHealth to provide and charge for services, keep electronic health records (including appointment, lab, and prescription management), keep and review case records, and track clinical inventory and assets.
