Announcing the 2022 HighPoint Scholarship Recipients
August 25, 2022 – HighPoint is pleased to announce that our 2022 HighPoint scholarships are awarded to Sophie Frank, Erick Hartzell, and Connor Morris! These students will each receive a $5,000 scholarship to support their undergraduate studies.
![]() | Sophie Frank is starting her sophomore year at Indiana University, located in Bloomington, IN where she will major in Stage Management. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in Fortville, IN. During her time in high school, Sophie was a member of the marching band which competed in States each year. She was Academic Bowl State Champion (Fine Arts) and won Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble Gold and Solo and Ensemble Gold with distinction at ISSMA. Sophia was also the stage manager of MV Theater and a leadership award winner. Sophie’s dad is Trey Frank, TQC Marketplace Project Manager located in Indianapolis, IN. |
![]() | Erick Hartzell is heading to Ivy Tech, located in Indianapolis, IN with the intention of transferring his credits to Indiana University School of Medicine. He aspires to be a psychiatrist. Erick is a 14 year old high school graduate! He also obtained 24 college credits while in high school through dual credit courses at Indiana University and completing College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams. Erick has earned a 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo and is a Taekwondo America multi-tournament gold medalist. He is also an avid daily runner and completes several 5k races each year. Erick’s mom is Maggie Collins, Senior Business Insight Analyst located in Indianapolis, IN. |
![]() | Connor Morris is heading to Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio where he will major in Computer Simulation and Game Engineering Technology. He received a 4-year merit scholarship from Shawnee State University and aspires to be a game programmer. Connor recently graduated from Westfield High School with Technical and Academic Honors. He received a Letter of Commendation for Outstanding Performance on the PSAT and also won a gold medal for a marimba solo performance of Furioso and Valse in D Minor at an Indiana State School Music Association event. Connor loves video games, animals, composing electronic music, and movies. Connor’s mom is Linda Morris, Senior Content Specialist located in Indianapolis, IN. |
Scholarship America, an independent company that manages corporate and foundation scholarship programs, carefully processed and reviewed the applications and selected the scholarship recipients.
